Ashok is a filmmaker and lens-based artist based in India working on queer narratives from South Asia with a keen interest in contextualizing mythology. His short Nightbirds premiered at Cannes Director’s Fortnight 2024 under the ‘Director’s Factory’ program. Automagic, his latest short film, has been selected for the Clermont-Ferrand International short film festival 2025.
