Cinema, in our memory, is deeply connected to the stories of our parents—stories filled with the spirit of the 1970s and 1980s, a time marked by uprising, curfews, and restrictions on movement. Despite all of this, cinema remained a space where imagination knew no limits—a world capable of transcending reality and crossing its boundaries. In this film, we tried to rediscover those worlds and build a personal relationship with this place, until we could almost hear the echoes of the films once shown there, and the laughter of audiences still lingering in its space. When we opened the cinema doors after forty years of closure, others might have seen nothing more than an abandoned building. But for us, it was still alive—holding on to its spirit, pulsing with everything it had carried from the past.
