Born in Switzerland, Maéva came to Brussels to study at IAD (Institut des Arts de Diffusion). After a Bachelor, she pursued a Master in Scriptwriting and a Master in Cinema. During her studies, she co-directed the short film Ruben. Her graduating documentary My village echoes returns to Switzerland to explore weapons and the army.
