After losing her most important person, Seira, in a mountain accident, Manatsu Fujino is left utterly alone in the world. Unable to attend the funeral, her life seems to halt in a moment. Then, a crab appears in front of her—it is Seira, reincarnated. In a surreal world where dreams and reality blur, Seira asks Fujino: “Let’s go meet God.” The voice stirred something frozen in Fujino’s mind. Knowing that they can no longer share this life together, she starts finding her way forward.

Director
Kazutomo Ogata
Born in Kyoto, 1985. After studying under director Shinya Tsukamoto, he continued to create films while working in a genetic research lab. His short film April Fish was nominated for various festivals. Currently, he works actively as an assistant director and other roles in the directing department of films and commercials.

During costume fittings, we gave each actor a “resume” for their character. On set, everyone acted exactly as expected, so I hardly had to direct them at all. I even wondered how to show my presence as a director. Their performances were so amazing, and I really want the audience to see that. Also, pay attention to the genius Crab-kun, whose performance works perfectly without any CGI. I didn’t want people to decide what kind of story this is, so I aimed to make a movie with highs and lows, where each scene has its own expression, like a roller coaster. I hope viewers can enjoy it like a ride at an amusement park.
