Tokyo is rich. It is efficient, rational, and never sleeps. But is that really true? In the rush of daily life, we may no longer notice even the flowers at our feet, and slowly lose sight of what matters.
This AI short film retells the Japanese myth of Tenson Kōrin in modern Tokyo. In the original story, Ninigi-no-Mikoto comes down from the heavens, meets Konohanasakuya-hime, and brings abundance to the earth. Here, that myth is placed in today’s city.
The story begins with small signs of loss in everyday life—plans being crushed, flowers ignored in the rain, bouquets pressed in crowded trains. From the sky above Tokyo, Ninigi arrives in a fall of golden light. In a quiet corner of the city, Sakuya cares for flowers. When they meet, something like abundance slowly returns to the city.
They are not direct figures of the myth, but its ideas run through the film. Rice and golden light stand for Ninigi. Mount Fuji, cherry blossoms, and flowers stand for Sakuya. These images repeat, linking ancient myth with modern Tokyo.

In 2025, he received an Excellence Award at the Kinki-Kanto Art Exhibition.

In recent years, he has fully incorporated AI as a production foundation and continues to present non-verbal visual works. His works include the AI film “NEO JAPANESE MYTHOLOGY,” based on the Japanese myth of “Ama-no-Iwato,” as well as “Uncharted Horizons,” through which he explores new forms of visual expression in the digital age. In addition to his own creative practice, he is also engaged in connecting technology and creativity through AI workshops and educational programs.
