Kohei's wedding day is approaching. Along with his fiancee & some friends, he goes to see his father who he hasn't seen in 22 years. They re-unite on a boat but instead of an emotional reunion, there is an uncomfortable silence between them
27-year-old Nana works in an advertising agency in Nagoya. She designs advertising plans or local businesses but is not very inspired. At a time like this, on a trip to a farming center with her estranged grandmother, she begins to see the right approach to take to become a good designer.
Extraordinary weather is caused by a nuclear war, the world is now in a new glacial period. Out of the chaos, Japan has become a military country. Miyuki, working as a volunteer for the military, has to make a crucial decision.
