Two weeks have passed since then. At the closing ceremony of the Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2026, that weathered little movie theater reappears before Bessho as he delivers his remarks on stage. The film being screened is “The Man Who Travels Through Food”. Leaving the frozen audience behind, Bessho steps into the theater and is once again drawn into the world beyond the screen. A ramen food stall, a New Zealand ranch, an Italian wine cellar, a fishing boat off the coast of Norway… Bessho is swept up in a journey through food cultures around the world. Transcending countries and cultures.
The sequel of “Cinema Traveler,” connecting people through the allure of food. Following the acclaim of the previous film, this sequel was produced in only two weeks for the festival’s Closing Ceremony.
