It is yakiniku day. Super cold beer and special marbled beef are on the menu. The sounds and smells of sizzling, burning meats abound. But it's not just beef that is burning now.

Usami, laid off and deep in debt, is writing his will on a park bench. Hinoko, a high-school student, sneaks up and reads his will. Hinoko, who is a poetry club member, demands Usami write the will better. They begin a wonderful friendship as they write it together.

When a young female photographer gets arrested, she is interrogated for taking pictures without a permit. She finds a key to communicating with her captor when she learns of the Basiji soldier's interest in photography.

The usually upbeat Tanaka drinks quietly at his favorite bar. A woman enters in the middle of the night. Tanaka abruptly starts to talk about "death." The woman listens to him, then snaps. Where is this talk about "death" heading?

A very frightened boy. A gun is aimed at his head by his mother. The tension between the two becomes unbearable. She is about to pull the trigger...

Jin is a famous star in Korea. She comes to Phuket for a holiday but cannot escape the constant disruption of phone calls and adoring fans. She finds an unexpected friend in Pong, the hotel limo driver. They share a common bond - an old memory of Phuket that no longer exists.
