Siang is a 13-year-old girl who works for a gang. Her dream is to move to Taitung, which has the best lobsters in the world. One day, she meets a street monk begging for money in a vow of silence. They decide to partner up as con-artists.

Joseph Hsu was born and raised in Taiwan. After pursuing a nuclear engineering degree while working as a cartoon writer, he realized his true love was filmmaking. He is an MFA candidate at NYU Tisch Asia. Joseph's film work takes him to several countries including Korea, Japan, Nepal and Taiwan.
