Once a child actress, Momoko, now a young woman, tries once more to prove herself. However, at an audition, her past comes back to haunt her and she fails miserably. Can Momoko overcome her past to finally taste success?

A woman is cleaning and finds a note on the floor. Later that night, the man comes home to an empty house. He sees the note left behind and immediately runs to find her. She boards a ship to take her to the places of her memories.

"Bigger Than The Tall" is an absurd and dark depiction of the relationship between a girl who works in a funeral home and her deceased grandfather. In between the Nordic mountains and islands, the director has created a universe of its own. The Scandinavian melancholy can be felt through the screen.

A song that perfectly captures the delicate emotional landscape of our teenage years, Atsuki Taketomo's ''Waremono Chui'' inspired this film by fellow teen, director Hana Matsumoto. This collaboration, which came out of a high school film competition, portrays the romance and heartbreak of youth.
