Lee Whittaker started his career right out of high school with George Lucas in Japan. After two decades behind the lens as an action director on such films as Jurassic Park and Pearl Harbor, Lee found himself in Mumbai, India where a situation with homeless children spawned a life-changing moment and became the inspiration for "Catching Fireflies," his film debut as director.
