Known for films such as "Chronicle of MY Mother" which received the Montreal World Film Festival Special Juror’s Grand Prix in 2012 and "Climber’s High," director Harada will draw from his wide experience as a filmmaker to lead a discussion geared towards aspiring visual creators and filmmakers on the future of the filmmaking and visual image industry.

After receiving wide praise nationally and from abroad for his 1995 film "Kamikaze Taxi, "Masato went on to make hit films like "Kin’yu fushoku retto: Jubaku," and "Totsunyu seyo! Asamasanso jiken," among others。His 2008 film "Climber’s High" won the Japan Academy Awards in 10 categories. "Chronicle of My Mother" won the Special Juror’s Grand Prix at the Montreal World Film Festival in 2012 as well as in 12 categories at the Japan Academy Awards.
