Another wide range of shorts from around the world.

International Program – 2: Germany, France, USA, Greece & South Africa were represented with shorts ranging from current news-of-the-day dramas to a story about aging to a comedy-horror to an inspirational doc about grannies playing soccer in South Africa.

French Film Festival 2017 – Short Film Selection: This program, always a festival fave, featured a first time ever in Japan showing of a 1964 doc titled “4 x D.” A very young & absolutely stunning Catherine Deneuve & 3 other then up & coming actresses & models are featured in this black & white, beautiful shot piece.

International Program 1: This 3rd program of the day is very wide ranging with shorts from Spain, Australia, Belgium, the Czech Republic, & Tunisia.

Asia International & Japan Program 1: Director Misaki Matsui came out to Yokohama to represent her very cool doc about 2 musicians living in Brooklyn, “mit Kenji & Keisuke” to a near full house. She happily announced that there would be further screenings in Japan this summer. We’ll try too keep you informed as we get more info!
