In our 9th collaboration with Kaohsiung Film Festival, an annual festival held in the second largest city of Taiwan, we deliver an attractive array of short films showcasing new Taiwanese talents. This year's selection is devoted to discoveries of new subjects and emerging social issues.

Mama PingPong Social Club

Shian-An Chuang/25:59/Taiwan/Drama/2018

A middle-aged woman A-Mian whose husband and daughter are always away from home has been living alone for years. After finding out about her husband's affair, she starts to search for a new focus in life. She comes to a pingpong club in a basement to meet her school old pal who looks much younger than her, and surprisingly sees all the Moms are full of laugh and unbelievable energy. An unlucky accident changes A-Mian body dramatically. She might hence find a wayto make her daughter stay with her forever. This time she is determined to find the perpetual happiness.

To Heaven, to Gather
